Təqʷuʔbəʔ (Mount Tacoma / Rainier) Unisex Pull-Over Hoodie
Before Captain George Vancouver named the mountain after his friend Admiral Rainier, local indigenous populations had many different names for it. The Southern Lushootseed (or txʷəlšucid, Twulshootseed) speaking Puyallup Natives whose territory stretched from what is now Tacoma, Washington to the mountain in question have called it təqʷuʔbəʔ (roughly: Takkobad), "Mother of Waters". This classic hoodie celebrates the deeper history of the place so many of us now recognize as home.
